Natalia Bryant, the eldest daughter of the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, is stepping into the spotlight with an exciting new chapter in her career. Fresh from graduating with a film degree from the University of Southern California, Natalia made her creative directorial debut on a new short film project produced in collaboration with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Titled Forever Iconic: Purple and Gold Around the World, the film celebrates the global culture and pride of the Lakers community. Natalia’s personal connection to the team and her father’s incredible legacy infuse the project with a heartfelt tribute. The short features star appearances from current Lakers like LeBron James and Luka Dončić, as well as retired great Magic Johnson, actress Brenda Song, and baseball star Shohei Ohtani.
Natalia said of the project, “This was an amazing, collaborative environment with such creative people. We all came together to portray the Lakers’ impact not only in LA but across the world. I hope those who already love this team are reminded of that pride. And if you’re not a Lakers fan yet, I hope this makes you want to be.”
The film also cleverly weaves in moments honoring Kobe Bryant, including a clip of his signature game-winning shot and nods to Lakers traditions.
As Natalia blends storytelling, art, and family legacy, she is proving that the Bryant influence continues to shape the Lakers and basketball culture beyond the court.
